Donald Lee Daniels

Donald “Don” Lee Daniels, 86 of Havana, FL. passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at his residence. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Havana First Baptist Church with Dr. Eric Erskine officiating. Family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00 AM until service at 11:00AM. Private interment at Woodland Cemetery in Havana.

Don was born February 21, 1937 in Jasper, FL. the son of the late Ed Daniels and the late Maggie Bembry Daniels. Don grew up on the family farm in Hamilton County, Florida  where he worked alongside his father and brother. Don was a U S Navy Veteran, He attended Florida State University and later graduated from The University of North Florida in Jacksonville with his Bachelor  degree.  He worked with Cental Telephone Company, and he later retired as a Communication Engineer with The State of Florida, Department of Management Services.

Don was an active and faithful member of Havana First Baptist Church. He was a member of The Adult Men's Sunday School Class. He loved singing in the choir and especially church wide activities. He enjoyed his RV and entertaining at his lake house on Lake Seminole.

He is survived by his nieces Regina Jordon (Troy) of Jasper, FL and Dr. Kellye K. Daniels Natick, MA; his nephew Kenneth M. Daniels (Darlene) of Jasper, FL. and numerous cousins. He is also survived by his care givers  Lynda Willis Wilson and Carlee Willis of Havana, FL. ( and the Willis Family)
