David Kirk Craven , 56 of Havana, FL passed away Monday, August 15, 2016 at his residence.
The memorial service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Faith Funeral Home Chapel in Havana. (850-539-4300 or www.faithfuneralhome.com. His family will receive friends after the service.
Kirk was born December 31, 1959 in Tallahassee, FL. The son of the late James A. Craven and Myrtice Justice Craven. He was a retired electrician. Member of (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers). The IBEW family was a large part of his life. Kirk was an avid sportsman and nature lover, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, especially deer hunting. He was also known for his great sense of humor, he always kept others laughing.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years Kay Craven of Havana; his mother Myrtice Justice Craven of Tallahassee; his daughter Ashley Hoffman (Joshua) of Jacksonville, NC; his daughter-in-law Isra Craven and grandson James Jacob Craven both of Havana; one brother Ronald Craven of Tallahassee; also survived by all his special friends with IBEW.
He is preceded in death by his son Matthew David Craven; father James A. Craven; brother Larry Craven and sister Glenda Wright.
