Biography

David Michael Bazemore 68, of Crawfordville, FL. passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Big Bend Hospice House in Tallahassee, FL.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Buck Creek United Methodist Church in Sylvania, GA. with Pastor Steve Purnell officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Bazemore was born May 13, 1944 in Savannah, GA The son of Edward Lumpkin and Lila Bazemore. He was a life time member of Buck Creek United Methodist Church. He was employed as a diesel mechanic for McKenzie Truck Line until his early retirement due to illness.
He loved fishing and boating, It brought him much pleasure to ride around on the water, often never fishing just riding on the boat looking at the landscape and water.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Jo Ann Bazemore of Crawfordville, FL. His sisters; Jackie Carpenter, Patsy Gill, Shirley (Alton) Lanier, Deanne Weaver and one brother Chris (Peggy) Bazemore. Three step children Deborah Lindsler , David Lee Whitaker, and Rhonda Mann.
He is preceded in death by his sister Neva Redick and two step children Suzanne Blanco, and Timothy Campbell.
