Biography
Lewie D. Boutwell II (Dan) of Huntsville, AL (formally of Havana, FL) passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at his residence. A graduate of Leon High School, he served in the USN and was a Korean War Veteran. His parents Lewie D. and Irene Speagle Boutwell, and sister Beverly Miller preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Weatherly Boutwell, son Andy Boutwell wife Jennifer, grandchildren Betsi and Mason of Huntsville, AL, sisters Margaret Broome of Sweetwater, TN, Diane Glover (John), Leona Boutwell and brother Charles Boutwell of Tallahassee, FL.
Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Faith Funeral Home Chapel, with Graveside funeral service at 12 noon at Shelfer Cemetery in Havana
Memorial donations; the family request that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Research.
