Biography
Dale Avery Murkerson, 57, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010 in Tallahassee. His memorial service will be at 2:00pm Friday, July 30, 2010, at Bible Believers Fellowship in Tallahassee. A native of Tallahassee, he lived in Ft. Myers for 15 years before moving back to Tallahassee. He retired from the air conditioning business. Dale was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing and hunting. He is survived by his devoted friend, Patti McCord of Tallahassee; his father, John Howard Murkerson; his mother, Mary Ardis Murkerson; three brothers, John Douglas of Ft. Myers, Harold Danny of Ocala, and Derrel Ray of Gainesville; one daughter, Layla Murkerson; 3 Grandchildren; two nephews, Ryan Murkerson of Birmingham, Al. and Thomas Murkerson of Ft. Myers; and two nieces. He is preceeded in death by his son, Michael Zane and brother John Edward.
