Biography

Curtis Ray Holland, 72 of Havana, FL passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 at Select Specialty Hospital in Tallahassee.

The Celebration of his Life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Havana Golf & Country Club (Club-House). Inurnment will be at Woodland Cemetery at a later date.

Mr. Holland was born November 4, 1942 in Tallahassee, FL the son of the late George C. Holland and the late Vera Stephens Holland. He was a graduate of Leon High School and Chipola College. Curtis was a family-man, he loved and cherished his wife and children, grand-children and great-grandchild. He was an avid golfer, huge FSU sports fan (especially football and baseball.) He also loved to hunt and fish. He worked in the floor covering industry for many years.

Survivors include his wife Kay Allbritton Holland of Havana; his son Curt Holland II (wife Renee) of Tallahassee; daughters Jennifer Holland Solomon (husband Steven) of Tallahassee and Karen Sessions-Crowley (husband Michael) of Ennis, MT; one sister Sandra Hunter (husband Fred) of Tallahassee; 7 grandchildren Taylor Elizabeth Gorman, Courtney Berry Gorman, Cole Hunter Crowley, Logan Hayley Crowley, Charles Foster Holland, Halle Francine Kay Solomon, Curtis Luke Holland; and one great-grandchild Liam Rauxdell Gorman.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Rocky Holland and Bookie Holland.
