On Saturday May 2, 2015 our adored, brilliant and beautiful sister, daughter, aunt and friend Christine "Chrissy" Johnson passed away in Tallahassee, FL of natural causes.
Christine was born in Miami, FL on May 24, 1983. A bright and lively soul, she achieved highest honors and graduated undergraduate school in 2004 and Law School in 2007 from Florida State University.
A constant, passionate fighter for child advocacy rights and rights of all human beings, particularly children and those underserved. This was proven time and time again through her work at The Florida Network of Children's Advocacy Centers where she interned, as well as during her seven years at the Palm Beach Public Defenders Office. At the time of her passing she was working with the Florida Dept. of Financial Services.
Christine was respected and admired by all who knew her and will be remembered by her family and friends and especially by her mother Ximena M. Perez-Johnson, her sisters, Francoise Thomas, Patricia Johnson and Ximena "Niti" Johnson as well as by her beloved niece and nephew, Anthony J. Johnson and Tatiana "Tati" Quevedo.
