Charles Robert Williams

Charles Robert Williams, age 89 passed away peacefully in Havana, FL on Wednesday, October 25, 2023. He was born on September 1, 1934 in Arenzville, Illinois. He moved to Tallahassee, FL, in 1965 with his wife.

Charles is survived by his wife of almost 68 years, Joyce Williams; son Timothy Williams (Marie), as well as his granddaughters Christy Laurent (Ryan), Jessica Welch (Ricky), Vivian Williams, and his only great grandchild, Kennedy Laurent. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Inez Williams.

He retired from Oil-Dri after many years working as a truck driver. He was a long-time member of Maranatha Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and Treasurer. He was a simple man who enjoyed spending time in the yard, working in his shed, watching old westerns, and having breakfast at the Country Kitchen on a weekly basis.

A Celebration of Life will be held, all are welcome.
