Charles K. Ralph,81 of Tallahassee, FL. passed away on February. 21,2014, at his daughters home in Tallahassee, FL. He was born February. 12.1933 to the late Wendell Ralph, Sr and Josephine Pirtle Ralph. In addition to his parents he was preceded in by a sister, Ione Tichenor;a brother Wendall Ralph Jr. and his wife, Dorothy Ralph.
He is survived by his children, Gina (John) Baker of Tallahassee, James (Janet) Irwin of Owensboro, Ky.;grandchildren, Erik Rust of Lexington, Ky., Jarrod (Rachel) Irwin, Trevor and Trace of Owensboro, Ky.,and Jessica Irwin of Evansville, Indiana, brother, McKenzie Ralph and two sisters, Velma Gustfson and Margaret Jo Ward, all of Hartford, Ky. and his nieces and nephews.
Charles was a veteran of the US Army. He was Vice President of Fort Hartford Stone Com. and retired from Peabody Coal Co. He attended Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He loved his family, enjoyed the outdoors, and was an avid U.K. basketball fan.
