Charles Harley Cutts

Charles Harley Cutts, 60, of Pelham, GA, passed away Monday, February 20, 2017 at Grady General Hospital in Cairo, GA.

The family will receive friends and family at 10 AM, then the memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, February 24, 2017, at First Baptist Church of Havana with Rev. Eric Erskine officiating. Interment to follow the service at Concord Cemetery.

Charles Harley Cutts was born on August 20, 1956, in Pelham, GA, to the late William H. Cutts and Nell Lodge. He married the love of his life, Janice Baird Cutts on December 31, 1976 and was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church, Whigham, GA.

Charles enjoyed sharing a good meal with friends and family while reminiscing about his younger days. When he was younger he enjoyed fishing, listening to music and he had a lifelong passion for restoring vehicles. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He lived in Homestead, FL for many years when he worked with the Federal State Inspection Service, returned to the South Georgia area to work with Service Master and Discount Auto Parts.

Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Janice Baird Cutts, his children, Heather Cutts Cooksey and her husband, Carl, of Havana, FL, William C. Cutts of Pelham, GA; grandchildren, Tyler Carroll, Braxton Carroll, and Sydney Rae Carroll of Havana, FL; his sister, Dena Donalson and her husband, Rickey, of Bainbridge, GA, his extended and loving family including, mother in law, Juanita Baird of Spence, GA, brothers in law, Tony Baird and wife Teresa of Cairo, GA, Coy Baird and wife Ruth of Newton, GA, sister in law, Sonya Headrick and husband Randy of Albany, GA and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
