Cecil Ocie Mullins was born on December 6, 1951, to Mildred Eloise and Doyle Cecil Mullins I. He attended Escambia High School, graduating in 1970. After, he enlisted in the Vietnam War, returning later to surprise his sweetheart, Dale, whom he married in July of 1972. Later he moved from Pensacola to Tallahassee to earn his BA in Criminology at Florida State University. He was on the Dean's list while supporting twin baby girls at home. He worked at a local A&P Grocery Store while going to school to help support his new family.
Cecil Mullins will forever be remembered as a kind man, always there to support any child or grandchild who needed it. Known for his favoritism towards family card games, puzzles, and hallmark movies, there was never a dull moment when Cecil was around. Pride would shine in his eyes for us all, and even though he had his opinions, he also had our best interests at heart.
He leaves with his loving wife, Dale. His death was preceded by his parents Doyl and Mildred Mullins as well as his sister Sharon Mullins and his 2 half-brothers as well as his brother n law Harry. He is survived by his two sisters Pat (Larry) Harley and Joan White. He is survived by his three children, Michelle (Jim) Smith, Jennifer (David) Crisson, and Doyle (Ashley) Mullins, his 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
