Carolyn Doris Reams

Carolyn Doris Reams, age 79, passed away on September 20, 2023, peacefully at her residence in Tallahassee, Florida.

Born on March 17, 1944, known for her deep love of family and her passion for gardening. Her green thumb was renowned, and she cultivated a diverse array of fruit trees, including lime, orange, cumquat, peach, apple, and even grapes, turning her yard into a wonderful orchard.

Carolyn is survived by her loving children, John Anderson of Tallahassee, Lowell Anderson of Tallahassee, Katherine Jo Ann Lawrence of Woodville, Judy Hodges of Atmore, Alabama, and Bobby Jo Braberman of Crawfordville. She was preceded in death by her partner, James Byrd, and her son, Thomas Lawrence.

In addition to her family, Carolyn had three furry companions, Poopy, Hot Dog, and Hannah, who were her constant sources of joy and companionship.

Carolyn Doris Reams will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love for family and her vibrant garden will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to share in her life.

A graveside funeral will be held Friday, September 22, 2023 2:00pm in the afternoon at Woodland Cemetery in Havana, Florida
