Biography
Bernard Hampton Cumby, Jr. 67, died December 22, 2009 at his daughter's home in Havana. His Memorial service will be 6:00pm Monday, December 28, 2009 at Faith Funeral Home Chapel in Havana. Mr. Cumby was born Dec. 29, 1941 in Fort Benning, GA. He was raised up in Lamout, FL. He was a heavy equipment operator most of his life, and was employed with Stege Contracting at the time of his death.
He survived by one daughter Melody Ann Waugh (and husband John) of Havana. Sons Raymond Earl Allen (and wife Jodi) of Rock Springs, GA ; Dennis Junior Jessup of Tallahassee; and John Raymond Cumby of Havana; Ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Bernard Hampton Cumby, Sr. and his mother Penelope Reardon and his son Michael H. Cumby.
